1. Introduction

Welcome to Tempo ("the App"), a habit tracking and Pomodoro focus timer application developed by Qingdao Tianji Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (青岛天机智能科技有限公司) ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how we handle your information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have regarding your data. By using Tempo, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Our core principle: Your personal data stays on your device. Tempo is designed with a privacy-first architecture -- your habits, focus sessions, and statistics are stored locally and are never uploaded to our servers.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Locally Stored Data

The following data is created and stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework:

  • Habit data -- habit names, icons, colors, frequency settings, and completion records
  • Focus session data -- Pomodoro timer records, session durations, and session types
  • Statistics -- aggregated data derived from your habits and focus sessions

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Together feature described below.

2.2 Local Preferences

Tempo uses UserDefaults (Apple's standard on-device storage) to store your app preferences, including:

  • Theme and language settings
  • Timer configuration and state
  • Onboarding completion status
  • Recent emoji selections

Additionally, App Groups (group.com.tianji.tempo) are used solely to share widget data between the main app and the Tempo widget extension. This data remains on your device.

2.3 CloudKit Data (Together Feature)

If you choose to use the Together feature, the following data is synced via Apple's CloudKit Public Database and stored in your iCloud account:

  • Group information -- group name, description, and settings
  • Member records -- your membership status within groups
  • Shared habits -- habits you choose to share with a group
  • Check-in records -- check-in activity shared within the group

This data is managed through Apple's iCloud infrastructure (CloudKit container: iCloud.com.tianji.tempo). We do not operate our own servers for this feature.

2.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

To be explicit, Tempo does not collect:

  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising identifiers (IDFA)
  • Analytics or usage tracking data via third-party SDKs
  • Browsing history or data from other apps
  • Contacts, photos, or any other device data

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to provide the app's core functionality:

  • Habit tracking -- recording and displaying your habit progress
  • Focus timer -- managing Pomodoro sessions and tracking your focus history
  • Statistics -- generating insights and visualizations from your activity
  • Together groups -- enabling shared habit tracking with people you choose
  • Widgets -- displaying habit and focus data on your home screen
  • Notifications -- sending habit reminders when you enable them

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond providing the functionality you expect from the App.

4. Data Storage and Security

Tempo employs a privacy-first architecture:

  • Local storage -- All personal data (habits, focus sessions, statistics) is stored on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and protected by your device's built-in security features, including hardware encryption and biometric locks.
  • iCloud storage -- Together feature data is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure. Apple encrypts this data both in transit and at rest. For details, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
  • No external servers -- Qingdao Tianji Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (青岛天机智能科技有限公司) does not operate any servers that store your personal data. We have no access to your habit data, focus sessions, or statistics.

5. Third-Party Services

Tempo uses only Apple's first-party services and contains no third-party SDKs, analytics tools, or advertising frameworks:

5.1 Apple CloudKit

Used for the Together feature to sync group data across members. Data is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5.2 Apple StoreKit 2

Used for in-app subscription management (Tempo Pro). All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

5.3 Apple Push Notification Service (APNs)

Used to deliver habit reminder notifications that you configure. Notifications are optional and fully user-controlled.

6. Children's Privacy

Tempo is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since all data is stored locally on the user's device, we have no mechanism to identify the age of our users.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided data through the Together feature, please contact us and we will assist you with any necessary steps.

7. Your Rights

You have full control over your data in Tempo:

7.1 Access

All your data is visible directly within the app. Your habits, focus sessions, and statistics are displayed in the corresponding sections of the app.

7.2 Deletion

  • Individual items -- You can delete individual habits, focus sessions, or group memberships from within the app at any time.
  • Complete data deletion -- The Account Deletion option in Settings allows you to erase all local data from the app.
  • iCloud data -- You can manage and delete data stored in iCloud through your device's iCloud settings.
  • App removal -- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.

7.3 Data Portability

Since your data is stored locally on your device, it is inherently under your control. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

7.4 Notification Control

You can enable, disable, or customize habit reminder notifications at any time through the app's settings or your device's notification settings.

8. Data Retention

Because your data is stored locally on your device:

  • Local data is retained until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app.
  • CloudKit data (Together feature) is retained in your iCloud account until you leave a group or delete the data. Apple's retention policies for iCloud apply.
  • Subscription records are managed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's data retention policies.

We do not retain any copy of your data on our own servers, as we do not operate any.

9. International Data Transfers

Tempo itself does not transfer your data internationally. However, if you use the Together feature, your data is stored in Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, which may involve storage in data centers outside your home country.

Apple handles all international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws. For more information, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable laws. When we make changes:

2.2 本地偏好设置

Tempo 使用 UserDefaults（Apple 标准的设备端存储）来保存您的应用偏好，包括：

  • 主题与语言设置
  • 计时器配置与状态
  • 引导流程完成状态
  • 最近使用的 Emoji 记录

此外，App Groups（group.com.tianji.tempo）仅用于在主应用与 Tempo 小组件之间共享数据，这些数据始终保留在您的设备上。

2.3 CloudKit 数据（一起做功能）

如果您选择使用"一起做"功能，以下数据会通过 Apple 的 CloudKit 公共数据库同步，并存储在您的 iCloud 账户中：

  • 一起做群组——与您选定的伙伴共同追踪习惯
  • 桌面小组件——在主屏幕上显示习惯和专注数据
  • 通知提醒——在您开启提醒后发送习惯提醒通知

我们不会将您的数据用于广告投放、营销推广、用户画像或任何超出应用预期功能的用途。

4. 数据存储与安全

Tempo 采用隐私优先的架构设计：

  • 本地存储——所有个人数据（习惯、专注记录、统计数据）均通过 Apple 的 SwiftData 框架存储在您的设备上，受设备内置安全功能保护，包括硬件加密和生物识别锁。
  • iCloud 存储——"一起做"功能的数据存储在 Apple 的 CloudKit 基础设施中。Apple 在传输和静态存储时均对数据进行加密。详情请参阅 Apple 隐私政策。
  • 无外部服务器——青岛天机智能科技有限公司不运营任何存储您个人数据的服务器。我们无法访问您的习惯数据、专注记录或统计信息。

5. 第三方服务

Tempo 仅使用 Apple 第一方服务，不包含任何第三方 SDK、分析工具或广告框架：

5.1 Apple CloudKit

用于"一起做"功能，在群组成员间同步数据。数据存储在 Apple 的 iCloud 基础设施中，受 Apple 隐私政策约束。

5.2 Apple StoreKit 2

用于应用内订阅管理（Tempo Pro）。所有支付处理完全由 Apple 负责。我们不会接收或存储任何支付信息，如信用卡号或账单地址。

5.3 Apple 推送通知服务（APNs）

用于发送您配置的习惯提醒通知。通知功能为可选项，完全由您自主控制。

6. 儿童隐私

Tempo 并非为 13 岁以下儿童设计或面向其提供服务。我们不会故意收集 13 岁以下儿童的个人信息。由于所有数据均存储在用户设备本地，我们无法识别用户的年龄。

如果您是家长或监护人，认为您的孩子通过"一起做"功能提供了相关数据，请与我们联系，我们将协助您采取必要措施。

7. 您的权利

您对 Tempo 中的数据拥有完全控制权：

7.1 访问权

您的所有数据均可在应用内直接查看。习惯、专注记录和统计数据分别展示在应用的对应版块中。

7.2 删除权

  • 单项删除——您可以随时在应用内删除单个习惯、专注记录或群组成员身份。
  • 完整数据删除——设置中的"删除账户"选项可清除应用内的所有本地数据。
  • iCloud 数据——您可以通过设备的 iCloud 设置管理和删除存储在 iCloud 中的数据。
  • 卸载应用——卸载应用将从您的设备中移除所有本地存储的数据。

7.3 数据可携性

由于您的数据存储在设备本地，数据本质上处于您的掌控之下。iCloud 数据可通过您的 Apple ID 设置进行管理。

7.4 通知管理

您可以随时通过应用设置或设备的通知设置来开启、关闭或自定义习惯提醒通知。

8. 数据保留

由于您的数据存储在设备本地：

  • 本地数据将保留至您在应用内删除或卸载应用为止。
  • CloudKit 数据（一起做功能）将保留在您的 iCloud 账户中，直到您退出群组或删除数据。Apple 的 iCloud 数据保留政策适用。
  • 订阅记录由 Apple 通过 App Store 管理，适用 Apple 的数据保留政策。

我们不会在自有服务器上保留您数据的任何副本，因为我们不运营任何服务器。

9. 国际数据传输

Tempo 本身不会跨国传输您的数据。但如果您使用"一起做"功能，您的数据将存储在 Apple 的 CloudKit 基础设施中，可能涉及在您所在国家/地区以外的数据中心存储。

  • 通知——有効にした場合に習慣リマインダーを送信する

当社は、広告、マーケティング、プロファイリング、その他アプリの想定される機能を超えた目的でお客様のデータを利用することはありません。

4. データの保存とセキュリティ

Tempoはプライバシーファーストの設計を採用しています：

5. サードパーティサービス

Tempoが利用するのはAppleのファーストパーティサービスのみであり、サードパーティのSDK、分析ツール、広告フレームワークは一切含まれておりません：

5.1 Apple CloudKit

「みんなで」機能においてグループメンバー間でデータを同期するために使用します。データはAppleのiCloudインフラストラクチャに保存され、Appleのプライバシーポリシーに準拠します。

5.2 Apple StoreKit 2

アプリ内サブスクリプション管理（Tempo Pro）に使用します。すべての決済処理はAppleが一括して行います。当社はクレジットカード番号や請求先住所などの決済情報を受け取ったり保存したりすることはありません。

5.3 Apple Push Notification Service（APNs）

お客様が設定した習慣リマインダー通知の配信に使用します。通知機能は任意であり、すべてお客様ご自身で管理できます。

6. お子様のプライバシー

Tempoは13歳未満のお子様を対象として設計されたものではありません。当社は13歳未満のお子様から意図的に個人情報を収集することはありません。すべてのデータがユーザーのデバイス上にローカル保存されるため、当社にはユーザーの年齢を確認する手段がございません。

保護者の方で、お子様が「みんなで」機能を通じてデータを提供したとお考えの場合は、当社までご連絡ください。必要な対応をお手伝いいたします。

7. お客様の権利

お客様はTempoのデータを完全に管理できます：

7.1 アクセス権

すべてのデータはアプリ内で直接ご確認いただけます。習慣、集中セッション、統計データは、アプリの各セクションに表示されます。

7.2 削除権

  • 個別削除——アプリ内からいつでも個々の習慣、集中セッション、グループメンバーシップを削除できます。
  • 一括データ削除——設定内の「アカウント削除」オプションにより、アプリ内のすべてのローカルデータを消去できます。
  • iCloudデータ——デバイスのiCloud設定からiCloudに保存されたデータを管理・削除できます。
  • アプリの削除——アプリをアンインストールすると、デバイスからすべてのローカルデータが削除されます。

7.3 データポータビリティ

お客様のデータはデバイスにローカル保存されているため、本質的にお客様自身の管理下にあります。iCloudデータはApple IDの設定から管理できます。

7.4 通知の管理

アプリの設定またはデバイスの通知設定から、いつでも習慣リマインダー通知の有効化、無効化、カスタマイズが可能です。

8. データの保持

お客様のデータはデバイス上にローカル保存されるため：

  • ローカルデータは、アプリ内で削除するか、アプリをアンインストールするまで保持されます。
  • CloudKitデータ（みんなで機能）は、グループを退出するかデータを削除するまでお客様のiCloudアカウントに保持されます。AppleのiCloudデータ保持ポリシーが適用されます。
  • サブスクリプション記録はAppleがApp Storeを通じて管理しており、Appleのデータ保持ポリシーに準拠します。

当社は自社サーバーを運用していないため、お客様のデータのコピーを一切保持しておりません。

9. 国際的なデータ移転

Tempo自体がお客様のデータを国際的に移転することはありません。ただし、「みんなで」機能をご利用の場合、データはAppleのCloudKitインフラストラクチャに保存され、お客様の居住国以外のデータセンターに保存される場合があります。

Appleは適用されるデータ保護法に準拠して、すべての国際データ移転を処理しています。詳細については、Appleのプライバシーポリシーをご参照ください。

10. 本プライバシーポリシーの変更

当社は、アプリの変更や適用法令の要件を反映するために、本プライバシーポリシーを随時更新する場合があります。変更を行う際は：

  • 本ページ上部の「最終更新」日が改定されます。
  • 重要な変更については、アプリ内またはウェブサイト上でお知らせする場合があります。

当社がお客様のデータをどのように保護しているかをご確認いただくため、本プライバシーポリシーを定期的にご確認いただくことをお勧めいたします。
